We guide you through every phase and handle the inevitable construction woes - contractor jargon, shifting timelines, all of it - so nothing feels confusing or overwhelming. We keep everything organized, understandable, and, of course, beautiful. The result? A home that works for real life and looks even better than the inspo.
Furnishing Design
Furnishing Design focuses on creating finished, beautifully layered rooms. Proper House provides a cohesive plan for furniture, textiles, lighting and accessories so your space feels complete and comfortable - because this is where you live, gather, recharge, and make memories.
Onboarding
We start by setting expectations, establishing your goals, and gathering everything we need to design with intention. You will receive your project binder, project calendar, and a clear roadmap for the weeks ahead.

Design
This is where it starts to get exciting. We begin by getting to know your style and priorities through a curated questionnaire and building your inspiration together. After that, we take detailed measurements and map out your design timeline so you always know what’s coming next. Then we dive into the good stuff—material boards, full design presentations, detailed drawings and documentation, and photorealistic renderings so your design is fully realized and ready for execution.

Procurement
Once your design is finalized, we prepare a detailed invoice for purchasing all trade goods. Ordering, tracking, and coordinating logistics are all managed by our team.

Project Management
Once construction begins, we stay closely connected with your contractor to ensure every detail is executed exactly as intended. You’ll receive a comprehensive Construction Binder for vendor and site reference, and we manage the entire process through Asana so scheduling, communication, and updates stay organized. You’ll always know what’s happening - no guessing games, no surprises.
